During the dry period, from November to March, the average temperature drops down to 23.3 degrees Celsius or 73.9 degrees Fahrenheit.
With an average precipitation of 194.5 centimetres or 76.6 inches, Grenada is the 29th state with the highest amount of rainfall. The month with the highest amount of rainfall is August while the month with the lowest amount of rainfall is April.
The economy of Grenada is a mixed economy which is largely focused on the export of agricultural goods. One of its largest exports are nutmeg and cocoa which represented nearly 20 percent of its GDP. However, due to several hurricanes at the beginning of the 21st century, its agriculture has taken large hits and with the increase of public debt Grenada has had limited financial resources to increase its agricultural output. As a result, Grenada has seen a large stagnation in its economic growth over the last decade. Most of its imports comes from Trinidad and Tobago as well as the United States which combined represent more than 55 percent of total imports. Most of its exported goods go to neighbouring Island states within the Caribbean archipelago which represent more than 50 percent of all exports.

Around 0.7 percent of the population adheres to Hinduism. These people are almost fully represented by migrants from India that were relocated by the British Empire.
Less than 1000 Muslims, or 0.03 percent, reside in Grenada and mainly originate from neighbouring Trinidad and Tobago. Despite being small in numbers, Grenada has two mosques on its main island.

Known for its chocolate, its underwater sculpture Park as well as being the 10th smallest islands on the planet, Grenada has been discovered by Christopher Columbus himself at the end of the 15th century. Before contact with European explorers, the island of Grenada was inhabited by Carib Indians. More than 150 years after the first contacts, the island became a colony of France but was later turned over to the British where it became a slave colony. After the abolishment of slavery in 1833, Grenada became a part of the West Indies Association until its independence in 1974. Shortly after its independence, its government was overthrown by a Marxist rebellion which in turn was overthrown by a pro-western rebellion. After overthrowing the Marxist government, Grenada has turned itself into a parliamentary representative democracy with a relatively stable government. .
Its geography consists of a central island with around 20 smaller islands. Most of its interior is densely forested with several small rivers and creeks. The highest elevation also occurs in its interior where several volcanic mountains are located. Its coastal area mainly consists of a low-lying plain which are lightly forested. Grenada does not border other states because it is an island state which is located at the most southern tip of the Caribbean archipelago with the Caribbean Sea to its west and the Atlantic Ocean to its east.
It has a total surface area of 346 square kilometers or 134 square miles. This makes Grenada the 184th largest state in the world being slightly smaller than St. Vincent and the Grenadines and slightly larger than Malta.
There are no permanent bodies of water residing within Grenada.

Most of the water from Grenada comes from its surface water which is derived from rainwater. After water treatment, all of its water is potent. In recent decades, the amount of precipitation in Grenada has been declining which slightly causes concern for water shortages in the future.

With 111,646 citizens, Grenada is the 180th most populous state in the world. Most of its citizens are of African descent. These people mainly arrived as a result of the European slave trade. Other smaller groups are the east Indian population, European population and a mix between European and African people.
It has the 29th highest population density in the world with 322 people per square kilometer or 833 people per square mile.
Around 60 percent of the population, or around 74,000 people have migrated to other states with the most popular destinations being the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Trinidad and Tobago.
Immigration to Grenada is slightly stimulated by the Grenadian government. Presently, around 2000 people, or 1.8 percent of the population has emigrated to Grenada. Some of these migrants have re-migrated from the United States back to Grenada and most of the foreign-born immigrants come from Trinidad and Tobago.
Since its independence, Grenada has copied the British educational system which provides free and compulsory education for children between six and 15. This has led to a 96.9 percent literacy rate which is the 72nd highest in the world. Some challenges that Grenada faces with its literacy rate are the limited educational facilities as well as absent children due to a shortage of work in the agricultural sector.
Healthcare in Grenada has been of medium standard. However, the prevention of diseases such as polio, measles and the rubella virus has been very successful in the last two decades due to high vaccination rates. Some threats to health in Grenada are currently noncommunicable diseases with vascular diseases being the leading cause of death. This is largely due to a high obesity rate in Grenada where around one in four is overweight. Other health threats are infectious diseases such as respiratory infection and HIV AIDS. The average life expectancy is 72.60 years with women reaching 75.2 years and men reaching 70.2 years. This ranks Grenada with the 101st highest life expectancy in the world.
The government of Grenada grants freedom of religion towards all religions. However, Grenada is virtually a mono religious state.
As the third most Christian state in the world, Christianity is represented by 96.6 percent of the population. Due to its history with France and England, Roman Catholicism and the Church of England are the largest denominations in Grenada which combined represent 90 percent of all Christians. The remaining 10 percent is represented by Wesleyan, Presbyterian and other small denominations.
